Things have been very busy since I got back from the Rose Parade.  I suppose that's no excuse for keeping those few of you who actually visit this site in the dark about what all went on there.  But the truth is explaining just exactly how cool it was to be there is a difficult task.  It's easy to say “I got to meet George Lucas” and people get that.  They understand why that's cool.  The hard thing to explain is just how befriending a guy from Belgium that speaks no English was not only possible but rewarding. 

So since I haven’t sat down and spent the necessary hours typing up the Rose Parade After Action Report, I'll do the next best thing.  Here's some pictures of me and my garrison with Mr. Lucas as well as pictures of all the marching participants and Mr. Lucas.  And yea this is kinda cool.  And yea I never in my life ever expect to post pictures like this on my site.  Sometimes the twists and turns of life can be pretty surprising.
